We aim to provide quality products and reliable service. If an issue arises, we assess each case fairly while prioritizing safety, product integrity, and customer trust. - Eligibility for returns
Returns or exchanges may be accepted when:
• The item received is defective, damaged, or different from what was ordered.
• The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery or collection.
• The item is unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with packaging and proof of purchase.
For safety and hygiene reasons, some protective gear may not be eligible for return once worn, used, or altered, unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
- Non-returnable items
The following items are generally not eligible for return:
• Used or worn riding gear
• Items damaged due to misuse, negligence, or incorrect sizing
• Customized or branded items made specifically for an individual or organization
• Items returned without proof of purchase - Inspection and approval
All returned items are inspected upon receipt. If a defect or error is confirmed, we may offer a replacement, exchange, repair, or refund depending on availability and practicality. - Refunds
Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method where possible. Refund timelines depend on the payment provider, including DPO Pay or bank processing timelines.
Refunds apply only to the product cost unless the error was caused by us. Delivery and handling fees are not refundable unless otherwise agreed.

Exchanges

Safety and liability notice
Protective gear reduces risk but does not eliminate it. Bodo Bikes is not responsible for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from improper use, incorrect sizing, or failure to follow safety instructions.
Legal compliance
This policy follows the principles of the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act and other applicable consumer protection laws of Uganda. Nothing in this policy limits rights provided under Ugandan law.
